On behalf of African Centre for Trade and Development (ACTADE), I have the pleasure of welcoming you to our website.
ACTADE recognizes the role of Trade and sustainable development as the sure way of eliminating poverty and helping poor economies achieve the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs). 
Trade, Environment and Health are interlinked and therefore fighting poverty requires approaches that address the causes of poverty and underdevelopment. We shall continue supporting the government towards achieving economic development and poverty reduction through capacity building more .
Our goals and objectives are to:
Undertake public policy research in international agreements which impact trade and sustainable development on the global, regional, national and local communities;
Contribute to the building of local, national and regional capacity in public policy analysis in Africa in order to achieve economic growth and sustainable development;
Facilitate interaction, while maintaining our independence, between and among policy makers, development partners, the private sector and civil society in order to help trade policy become more supportive of sustainable development;
Support poverty eradication efforts through capacity building, policy research, advocacy, and information dissemination; and
Provide information and guide in the development of trade.
